Grid
The Grid, shelving piece uses no excess fasteners or bolts and is assembled from several pieces of identically cut 3/4” thick, locally sourced, birch ply-wood. The freestanding shelf juxtaposes simple elegance with practical stability. The expanding line is based on a design premise of simplicity and flexibility while referencing mathematical permutation. The pieces in the collection are each comprised of several identical pieces that are then arranged in structural patterns to create the design. New Grid systems can be ordered; configured in a variety of sizes, materials, and finishes to suit the individual’s needs.
